Consultant apt for high blood pressure

Hoping someone has been through this and can offer their experiences...
Currently 35+2 and have experienced high blood pressure throughout my pregnancy.
Latest trip to MAU (for high BP and protein in my urine) has resulted in a consultants appointment at the hypertension clinic.
I was just wondering if anyone had had this, and what the outcome was? At home BP monitoring? Medication? Induction? Other?
Thanks in advance 😊

Hi, I've had appointments with the hypertension clinic but am much earlier on (27+4). Pre-10 weeks I had 24hour monitoring and had regular monitoring in clinic so couple of consultant appointments and the rest with the midwife - just the usual urine/BP checks. I've a diagnosis of white coat hypertension now and am on aspirin. The plan is to keep an eye on things and then bring my appointments closer if needed later on. There was mention of medication if my BP increased but so far not needed. I was advised not to use the home monitoring. Good luck - I hope it settles soon. The consultant and midwives in clinic have all been lovely!

Thanks for your reply! Most appreciated! I should have added I've also had weekly midwife appointments for BP and urine checks and have been on aspirin since early on in the pregnancy! Curious to see what they will say at the clinic!

Fingers crossed all goes well! Ive stayed under the care of the hospital rather than the community midwife but it's actually been a lot easier to get appointments.
