Has anyone here ever got pregnant from pre cum? Everyone says you can but I don't actually know of anyone that has.

My DH and I had literally 3 minutes of unprotected sex before using a condom and I'm now 3 days late and a bit nervous.

I don't think anyone could ever be 100% certain, if they were pregnant, that it was from pre cum. However, it can absolutely contain active sperm, so there's always that chance. If you're late, take a test. Xx

I took a test this evening but think it's still too early to tell. The event was last week and I'm 3 days late.

I'd usually say it was too far from ovulation but I conceived dd2 a week after I supposedly ovulated and didn't get a bfp until I was 2 weeks late for af.

It wasn't precum that got me pregnant. However, i conceived 3 days before my period was due , so in terms of too late due to ovulation, never say never.

Yep, it's totally possible! And I know it was this date as it was on my birthday weekend and I didn't have sex anytime close to this on either end.

Yep. Been there, got the 3 year old.

Yep tested yesterday and still negative. With dd2 I didn't get a positive until 2 weeks late so I'm not convinced until I've reached the 2 week mark lol

@nordstrom so it is possible 😂🙈 everyone says it can happen but you're the first who I've spoken to who it's happened to

I have a friend who worked at a sexual health clinic at a university and she told me that there was research that pre-cum didnt tend to have a significant amount of sperm in it so whilst its still possible, because of course it only takes one, it was quite an unlikely way to get pregnant.
However, in HIV positive people, pre-cum contained HIV, so it was very important to use condoms in that respect

Yep I'm pregnant from precum! It was a surprise to me too

I've just been counting the days on my calendar so if my estimations are right, I should get a bfp on Wednesday if I am pregnant.

Sorry to jump on but I saw you didn’t test positive til week 2 after period was due ? I’m 5 days late , trying to conceive so it’s a good sign but I have done a few tests and they’re all negative ? 😖 I’m losing my mind !!

My god son started his life as pre cum

@Itsemily with dd1 I got a bfp a few days before af was due and dd2 was 2 weeks late for af so I always say that it's not over until the fat lady sings.
Give it a few more days and then take another test.

AF turned up (thank god). 2 DCs are enough for me lol
