Hello,
I have just found out today I'm pregnant (my period isn't supposed to be due for another week) but I was feeling horrific so took a test, and I'm so shocked.
I had sex 5th November with my new partner, but ended up having sex with my previous partner on 11th November (please please don't judge 😔)
Which one is more likely to be the dad?
I'm guessing my new partner, as it's exactly 14 days since intercourse so would be more likely to show on pregnancy test rather than old partner which was 8 days ago.
I use a period tracker so didn't even think I would be ovulating!
My last period was 26th October.

Can anyone help please?

I think that line is too strong for before your period, I tested positive 9 dpo after ivf and the line was very very faint
I also had implantation bleeding, I think you got pregnant the cycle before. Would that mean it was definitely your ex?

I’m in the same position. No one on here can tell you the answer as I have spent many a sleepless night worrying and panicking about it. Believe me it’s not worth the stress.

You need to decided what you are doing with the baby, and then you need to come clean to both parties. It’s not going to be easy, but it’s the right thing to do and it will be less stress etc throughout the pregnancy should decide to keep the baby.

The dating scan will narrow it down a bit for you but I’m still in the dark until I have a DNA. The scan dates point to one person but as another person has pointed out sperm can live inside you for a few days before fertilising the egg.

If you want to talk, please PM me x

This happened to me. I just had to ride it out and be totally upfront with both of them. DNA test was done when my DC was 6/7 weeks old.

Good luck and be honest, no harm comes from the truth.

I think it's almost certainly the first guy. You wouldn't get such a strong positive 8 days after conceiving a baby. DNA test is the only way to be totally sure though, otherwise you'll always have that doubt.
