I've had a really hard time with this pregnancy. Still on medicine for HG ! I'm 34 weeks and for about 2+ months I get this very intense pressure at the top of my belly and I absolutely can't cope. I can't walk for more than 10 mins without it becoming unbearable. It's there when I sit of lay down and can last for hours, go away for a short time and then come back. It's been getting worse and my chest just aches (I assume from the weight of my stomach). My midwife and obstetrician just didn't seem bothered at all. I am so weak all the time, my legs and arms shake (been on iron for a while and it's not that). I feel so unwell that I just lay down all the time. I can't even walk to the shop. I'm now on anti depressants as the discomfort has really put me in distress.

I don't get many answers from looking online. I can't think of anything that is causing this. Even Braxton Hicks don't last long enough for it to be those. I'm so uncomfortable I just lay down and cry a lot.

Anyone else have/had this?

I wonder if it's your muscles in your abdomen separating a bit? My physio described the sensation to be as being like that. You could try googling diastasis recti and see if that sounds like what you're experiencing? If so I think the best thing is rest and a bump support.

I think I'm suffering from diastasis recti and get that sort of feeling, along with some weird bulges at the top of my bump. It's quite painful at times.

Sadly, this appears to be fairly normal so although it's painful it seems to be one of those things.
