Hello,

Does anyone have any tips for easing morning sickness?

It's waking me up at 2am where I am then staying up being sick to the point my stomach is empty and I'm just being sick stomach acid, I've never had it this bad before and it's constant through the day of feeling sick, my appetite has completely gone and the thought of food makes me want to be sick.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That sounds awful for you op

You might need GP to prescribe for that

My morning sickness was only mild, I only threw up a handful of times. Ginger helped and not getting too hungry but I don’t think that’s enough of a help to you x

It sounds like you need to see your GP. You'll end up dehydrated if you are constantly being sick. Can you keep any water down?

Go and see your GP. If you have severe sickness or hyperemesis the traditional remedies won't help. I tried them all. I though I might hit the next know it all midwife who suggested ginger to me. The health service is woefully undereducated on hyperemesis so don't let them mess you about. If your first prescription doesn't work then go back straight away. There is a really good website for information on hyperemesis, I'll link to it below. It's definitely worth reading up about it before you see your doctor as they are very undereducated in this area.

Thank you for your replies!

I'm managing to keep bits of water down but only in small sips here and there, I've tried toning my midwife on multiple occasions and she never answers or calls back so will try going straight to GP.
