I have the worst wind feeling under ribcage.. I've kept moving. Avoided fizzy. Etc.. Tried burping and it's not helping ... Sorry tmi.
It feels when I had an op and they inflate tummy and leaves that awful pain

I've tried peppermints and peppermint tea.

Is there anything over counter I can buy? Or any other tricks.

Unless it's the baby there but feels gassy iyswim.

I'm 30 weeks.

When I had this getting onto all 4s with my bum in the air (i did it while my bath ran so DH didn't think I was a prat) was the only thing which worked! The Joys of pregnancy!

Tried that for an hour earlier when dd was sleeping.
Didn't have this with the other 2 dcs

Is it under the right or left? If it's the right please go and get checked over. I'm not saying it to scare you but RHS pain is a sign of pre eclampsia

It's all round but mainly the middle and left.

You're avoiding fizz but sometimes it can help as a small amount of wind can struggle to work through your system especially with a baby obstacle.

Try a can of fizz (not a bottle it's less fizzy) drunk as fast as you can, sounds counterintuitive but try not to burp/fart till you've finished it, or some baking soda (the can of fizz is generally more palatable) and hopefully you'll then do a massive fart/burp and you'll be right again.

Horrible feeling.

Thank you.
Tried fizz its eased a it not much
Admittedly I drink a lot of fizz normally I won't say how much as its shocking. And never ever had any gassy issues. But didn't have any today as its soo painful.

If it's on your RH side, about level with the underside of your boobs, it could be biliary colic (usually caused by gallstones). It's a symptom worth checking out with your midwife, I'd say.

I used to. Ironically that can mean your body is used to it and when you don't have it can't cope.

I quit cold just over a year ago as part of going caffeine free for other health reasons, stomach was definitely off for first week/10 days then it settled down a lot.

Cola can be just as damaging to stomach as excess alcohol consumption. Ask any gastro surgeon. I worked with someone once who drank 6 cans a day, he ended up needing surgery before age 30 to fix the damage he'd done. Note also the effect cola has on rust, dirty sinks etc (it's a very effective caustic cleaner)

Maybe try baking soda? Hope you're feeling much better soon Thanks
