First antenatal clinic - what to expect?

Hi everyone, I've got my first antenatal clinic appointment on Thursday. Can anyone tell me what actually happens at the first one? The appointment letter says I may have to be there for 3 hours but doesn't actually say what it involves. Just really want to know if it is worth my husband taking time off work to come. Thanks all!

@Tarnishedglitter
If you're about 12 weeks it might involve first your dating scan, then urine tested, blood test for trisonomies ( if you choose to have the screening ), blood test if you didn't have them at your booking app, and you'll see a consultant possibly( I guess it depends on your medical history also). That might be it.

The waiting times are long because there are different people you need to see and there are other ladies to be seen also. Mine lasted 4,5 hours. I had snacks and things to do while waiting.
