Winter Breastfeeding Clothes

So, erm... How she's one breastfeed in winter? I mean out and about.

What is best to wear, should you get nursing specific clothing? I'm pretty bad at clothes shopping but i get frustrated by a) how much they cost and b) none seem appropriate for winter. All short sleeved. Or many. I find some on Amazon recently a bit more reasonable.

I'm the kinda person too who normally wears about 5 layers. A thermal vest, a long sleeved t shirt, a jumper and then a big wooly jumper and then a coat of I'm out.

So obviously I'm probably not going to be able to wear all that...

But anyway, what best to wear the easy and discreet access? And where does one get it from entity paying an absolute fortune. I hate spending money on clothes normally anyway!

I got by using nursing t-shirts under big fluffy jumpers. Immediately after birth my bump was still big enough to wear over bump trousers, which sort of act like an extra layer. You could also do bf tshirt, button shirt then jumper if you feel the cold? So only need to buy nursing base layer as such, the wear your normal clothes (shirts/jumpers) on top?

Try Happy Mama, cheap and cheerful!

A vest top under all clothes in a size bigger so it's easily pulled down.
This tip saved me so much money on clothes!

I lived in vest tops (which I pulled up) and fleece jackets cheap from mountain warehouse (zips up to cover below-boob area)

Lots of layers! A warm snuggly cardigan and a big scarf were my go to.

Stretchy vests with stretchy straps that can be pulled down (MandS), then wear normal clothes on top.
