so got my dating scan on friday.........

I had one in birmingham about 3 weeks ago and they gave me a "rough" estimate of 5 weeks, but i saw the yolk sac etc..

well now i have a dating scan at my local hospital on friday, which if b'hams dates are about right i will be 8 weeks. But im petrefied there wont be anything there

Why am i thinking this??? when ive already seen the yolk sac thingy

Has anyone else ever had this or should i ring up the mental hospital now??

phew thank god its just not me then lol, this is actually my 4th so i should know better!!!

I spent the days before my scan worrying that there were 2 in there, or nothing at all. The possibility that there was one, healthy baby just seemed too far fetched!

i keep relying on the waves of sickness to convince me that i am pg lol

Also they found a patch of what she said was a bleed, that scared me a bit but she didnt seem concerned so i didnt ask

I think how you feel is normal.

I still felt like when i went for my 2nd scan i was convinced that i had not seen a baby at 14wks.

Yes i am completely mad..

im excited now...........why does it only have to be monday
