Midwife services Northumberland

Hello,

Thinking ahead here. We are trying for a baby. Just wondered what the first steps are when you have a positive pregnancy test in Northumberland?

Do you contact midwifes directly? Or contact your GP?

Hi there. Im not from northumberland as such, i live in south shields outside newcastle so still north east. I contacted my gp, explained im pregnant having just had a positive pregnancy test and they booked me in an appointment with the midwife which was about two weeks later :) im only 15 weeks at the moment so its all fairly new to me too x
