I'm 5 weeks pregnant today (rainbow baby after MC in August)

We've just DTD and after I went to the loo and there was abit of pinky I want to say CM but we all know what I'm talking about lol.

Is this anything to worry about? Haven't had any other signs of spotting before this. And after on the third wipe there was nothing there.

Just panicking as I started spotting at this time in my last pregnancy before losing it at 5+6.

Just sending a hand hold, OP.

I had this at the start too. I was told it will just be disruption to the cervix. I'm now at 35 weeks and have had a really healthy pregnancy. No bleeding since around 8 weeks.

@ELJ1502 I've been to the loo this morning and there wasn't anything. Last night I had to proper look to notice it. It wasn't like obvious bright pink.

I'm seeing the midwife on Weds so will check with her.

Just my advice but I wouldn't have sex again until 2nd trimester just as a precaution x

GingerRH · 17/11/2019 20:44

@Lou2120 that's a long time without sex 😂😂 due to see midwife on weds so will discuss with her then.

There's been nothing since last night.

@GingerRH it's better to be safe and check like you said.

My midwife said it was perfectly normal as long as it wasn't fresh and bright red. I also asked about avoiding sex until the second trimester because of what I had read and she said that sex shouldn't affect pregnancy. It's just the blood vessels in the outer cervix or old blood that is dislodged.

Good luck!
