Hi all, I'm 11 weeks today and we went for a private scan today as I had some bleeding yesterday and after 3 losses I panicked. We were astounded by how long the baby's legs are! We've already had 3 scans and the legs have suddenly shot out, both the sonographer and the receptionist were amused how long they looked!

I LOVE this picture! Am I right in thinking the baby is facing forward and those are facial features you can see? The hands are over the ears too!! It's bizarre how totally in love you can be with someone you've never met isn't it?

They look faving forward to me as you can see eye sockets.

It’s amazing isn’t it Op, after my first scan I felt this rush of love like I’d never felt before

Wait until you start to feel the kicks & movement, you’ll sit for hours just waiting to feel them Grin it’s so amazing! When are you due?

I'm only 11 + 2 green eye BUT because it's the furthest I've made it it feels amazing!! We've got 4 more scans coming up and then after that I'm hoping baby will be moving by then to stop me obsessing about whether he/she is ok!! How many children do you have? xx

Thankyou! 😁 we're having a surprise!! We really don't mind what we have and I think it's just one of the best surprises ever, much to my poor mums dismay who wants to go out shopping NOW and know what sex she's buying for!! Ha ha, we have our names for each picked out and will surprise everyone with those too.

How was your Labour if you don't mind me asking? I'm not afraid of it at all but am worried about tearing and being scared to have a poo afterwards! I've been doing my pelvic floor exercises and reading articles on how to reduce the chances!

That’s amazing! Good for you the next baby we have we are going to leave the gender as a surprise 🤞 my mum was like that she wanted to rush out the door & buy everything in sight Grin

My Labour was okay, on paper it sounded perfect. But it was painful DS was back to back. I had a water birth he was born in water. It truly was amazing to experience & so much better for him as I almost needed assistance as I couldn’t get him out but as I was in water MW said the baby was under no stress. I did leave it too long to go to the hospital though, I was fully dilated & pushing when I got there, it was extremely painful so - my tip, don’t leave it too long Grin DS was born 2 hours after I arrived he would have been born sooner but it took me 5 attempts to get his head out.

The tearing I had pretty bad 2nd degree tears, it wasn’t pleasant at all but you’ll be surprised how quickly you heal. My tip - avoid anything like orange juice after it’ll sting so much just try to stick to water.

As for the first poo after I worried about this too. But honestly it wasn’t that bad at all. It was more peeing for me.

Also i have used perfect prep machine for bottles they were amazing for night feeds x
