I've just been for an early scan after a miscarriage last cycle and all is good with the little bean, she dated me 6+3 and we saw the heartbeat.

However she also saw a 2.5cm hematoma. I haven't had any bleeding so far but should I expect some bleeding?

Yes, unless your body absorbs it. I had that with dc1 pregnancy and he was fine. Just random bleeding here and there. However, I also bleed randomly with my other pregnancies but no hemotoma had been seen with them. The main difference between them was ds1 I had heavy stop start bleeding and the other pregnancies they were lighter stop start bleeding.

Yes I had quite a lot of bleeding with a haematoma, sometimes bright red. Bean made it though and the bleeding stopped around 14 weeks.

I had a haematoma, I got some bleeding and because I had, had a miscarriage a couple months before I was taken for a early scan. We could clearly see it. By my 12 week scan it had gone.
I’m now sat here cuddling my 6 week old.
