Sore, swollen labia..

Hi all. I'm 38 weeks today, lost my mucous plug on Tuesday night and have had lots of discharge since, accompanied by damp knickers (have spoken to midwife, they're not concerned) and lots of lower back and lower bump pain that comes and goes but in no pattern.

I've just had a shower and upon washing I noticed my outer labia is very swollen, sore and quite red. Has anyone had this? Could it be a result of being so damp down there constantly? Any advice appreciated 🙂

It could just be from all the pressure, im only 29 weeks but getting swollen down there baby is very heavy so makes sence and if i remember it was pretty much the same with my other two.

When you bath/shower try just using water around that aread instead of bubble bath any other products just incase that may be irritating it.. also are you using liners in knickers? If not then that may help if constantly damp knickers that will rub on you and make you sore. You could see gp or speak to midwife just incase they suggest getting a swab done or something incase its something else xx
