I am currently 6 nearly 7 weeks pregnant and been in a lot of pain on my right side. The EPU have been amazing and been testing my hcg and scanning me daily or every 48 hours
My hormone levels in a week have sadly only been 120, 135, 156, 190. The scans have only shown a tiny black dot which could be blood or an empty sac.
I have had no bleeding and still have a lot of pregnancy symptoms.
They have told me to expect a miscarriage but wont give me methotrexate as they want my body to end my pregnancy naturally. Whilst I understand this, has anyone been in this situation and how long did the PUL last for and did you end up with the injection or even a viable pregnancy.
I've been told to wait a week unless the pain on my side gets worst but they cant see anything in my tubes.
I'm frightened and feeling very lost

With your hcg levels so low I doubt the dot they can see is anything embryo related as hcg needs to be 1000+ before a sac is visible.
I had similar except it took until hcg reached 3500 before it was found to be ectopic and I was given methotrexate but it was too late and ruptured anyway
If your level rises again I'd push for the shot as clearly your body is not resolving it itself if the numbers aren't going down x

I'm 41 this month and we have ached for another baby but it seems it's just not meant to be.
I am going out of mind waiting and waiting. To be told to wait another week it's just torture x

I had this is Feb and my HCG levels were exactly like yours no symptoms, they eventually found what they thought could be an ectopic but it did take 3 weeks but cause my hcg levels were so low it was less likely to rupture so u should be the same I finally had methotrexate on the 4th week amd u then camt try for 3 months but I did get pregnant 2 months after I could start trying again so there is hope good luck x

I had a PUL 3 weeks ago. My levels were higher than yours at about 1500. I had been in a&e with severe pain and at that point i thought i had ruptured (it was the first time ectopic had crossed my mind) was scanned the next day but couldnt find it, i knew that with levels like that they should have found it. By 5 days later they found it (with a lot of hunting) in my right tube. I was given methotrexate that day. I am now 15 days after methotrexate and levels are coming down but not very quickly.

It really is a horrible time and it is difficult to know what to do.

I hope you get an outcome soon. I am 38 and after 2 mc I thought this was it. I was devastated to find that indeed it was there and growing.... just in the wrong place.

Oh my goodness, you really have been through it. I'm sorry you are going this this, it really is heartbreaking :(
My pain is a constant dull ache with a pinching pain every so often. I've been scanned 4 times now at EPU and all they found was a tiny black dot that was inconclusive.
I'm not back until thursday now unless pain gets worse x

I was the same, just a niggling 'toothache' pain. Still have it just now. If i hadnt been sore that one night I would still have been none the wiser.

I had a PUL last December. Found out at 6 weeks and my hcg levels were very low at just below 200. Took about 2 weeks to start bleeding and another 4 weeks till my hcg levels were fully down.

I started bleeding today.

Personally, I'd wait rather than push for methotrexate.

I don't know the numbers for the hormone levels, but eight years ago I was given methotrexate to end a pregnancy that they believed to be ectopic. A couple of days later, I was rescanned after being in agony and they found the pregnancy to be inside the womb with a heartbeat. By this stage, it was obviously too late and I miscarried a few days after having the methotrexate. I'll never stop regretting the fact that I followed their advice rather than waiting a little longer to see how things panned out.

Miscarriage confirmed today and my kebel down to 46. Need to do a pregnancy test in 10 days to check negative.
I had huge amount if pain yesterday but today its subsided. Just left hospital and feeling pretty rotten
