I'm confused, chemical or not pregnant?

So my period was due on the 6th Nov but it didn't come, had mild cramping and slightly tender boobs but nothing else. Tested with a FRER on 13th Nov (yesterday) and had a positive test, not super dark but a definite pink line. Within 2 hrs I had some brown discharge but not alot.
This morning I took a CB digital test which said negative, I have also started bleeding since (not as much as my normal period) and have really bad cramps.
The GP said theres nothing I can do I just have to see what happens and test in a week. But she said it was strange to get a negative before the bleeding had started?
Could I have been mistaken and wasnt pregnant after all or is this probably a chemical miscarriage?
My head is all over the place!
I've added a pic of the FRER test for reference.

I'm confused, chemical or not pregnant?

Cb digital are not really that sensitive tbh but not sure if it would of picked up a pregnancy by now or not.. but im afraid your gp has given the best advice, all you can really do is wait and re test again in a weeks time. When ive had chemicals in the past my line was never that dark... that isnt really a faint positive its a very noticeable one... keep an eye on the bleeding and maybe try another frer test instead of cb if you wanted too. Hope everything works out for you xx

CB digitals are way less sensitive than FRER.

It’s normal to not show positive on a CB when a FRER has a decent line.

Try another FRER and look for line progression. Throw the digital in the bin.

If it’s a chemical, the FRER line will get weaker.

Thanks everyone, I did think that about the CB tests but it's made me doubt myself!
I plan to give it the weekend at least and see how the bleeding progresses. Cramps are starting to ease a little with the help of a hot water bottle!
