That's defo a positive you can always have a false negative but never a false positive x

Chlosavxox · 14/11/2019 00:55

Some tests are more sensitive than others, hence why some are negative and some are positive - especially if you're not even late yet.

Sainsburies tests are known on here to be a bit dodge though, lots of people seem to get positives that then aren't. Try a FRER if you can get one, more sensitive and pink dye tests are more reliable

Hi everyone!!
I am due today but still no sign of my period (I am usually late though)
However today I have looked at my tests that turnt negative straight away and all of them have faint positives?!
Are these evap lines as they were left a while???

I'd try and get a pink dye test, much less likely to have annoying evaps etc. I think first response are really good but any pink dye should be a bit clearer for you. Fingers crossed.

There's a clear blue pregnancy test that leaves no doubts - it flashes up "pregnant" or "not pregnant" and how many weeks... no guessing required.

SoniasTrumpet · 15/11/2019 06:05

Could be a chemical pregnancy where the embryo starts to embed but then fails to continue. I've had this twice. Positive pregnancy test then negative then period arrived. The e downside to early testing. Hope this is not the case for you.

I am still not on my period. Keep getting cramps every night and thinking I’m coming on but I’m not. This has never happened to me before and would every test leave an evap line?! What should I do?!

Get a clear blue test Grin

Cookiep123 · 18/11/2019 20:48

I have to wait to get a good one on pay day (Friday) is it normal to be 4 days late? Quite sore nipples too

Sometimes your body can trick you into having phantom pregnancy symptoms if your looking for them you will end up feeling them..if your stressing then that can also delay a period. On the other hand you could be pregnant. Did the tests appear to have faint positive lines after the alloted time? If they didn't and the faint lines came up within the time frame then you probably are pregnant as it's unlikely to get a false positive. As others have said pink dye tests are your better choice. You can even pick one up for £1 in asda being 4 days late it would pick up a pregnancy by now or like others have also said get a CB Digital when you can x

It’s just weird as now I’m 5 days late and having weird cravings like chicken nuggets with curry sauce? I’m going to test again tonight x

Do you live in Canada!? If so pop in to your family doctors and get a feel blood test :)
