Evening ladies. Me and my partner are arguing as since I've been pregnant I cannot stand him touching me or coming near me. We was perfectly fine before and the first few weeks. I'm now 6 weeks pregnant and I cannot stand the thought of him hugging/kissing me. Please tell me this is normal. I feel pretty rubbish that I'm feeling like this.

@Jasxxx is there anything in particular thing that is putting you off. I'm very similar but have horrendous nausea and kinda scared of being intimate until I've had my 12 weeks scan

Omg I was the same with my first pregnancy I don't no what it was about him but hates him anywhere near me I loved him of course but when he wonted attention I hated him to the point one time he kissed me an I was sick it did ease off later on in my pregnancy but yet it's not nice for them and I get that but I couldn't help how I felt xx

cant recall exactly but i was feeling quite nauseous the first 3-4 months (from 6 weeks onwards) of my first pregnancy and wasn't keen on DH - I didn't like his smell, his deodorant, his breath, his cooking... pretty sure there was no kissing. i was also super tired and felt like i'd been run over, so also no hugging (or further)!
It vanished with my nausea i'm happy to say!

is there any way else you & partner could show affection so he doesn't feel like you're downright rejecting him? he ought to understand it's your pregnancy hormones doing the talking though!

It's hormones, and normal, I flinched if dh so much as tried to touch me. But i can also see why the rejection bothers him. He needs to read this when there are some more replies to understand that it really has nothing to do with him personally and it doesn't mean you care about him any less.

unexpectedly pregnant! I found it weird that my period was due and i still had nothing, because usually its always the same cycle. but i had mild cramps for 10 days, then finally got my period with a delay of 5 days so I though OK i'm not pregnant then! But they were not as heavy as before, I bled for 2-3 days max (it's usually a week or so). It was definitely more than just spotting, it was like a real period with even a few clots of blood. period cramps on first day of period and everything. Then it stopped and i kept having those weird cramps in my lower abdomen everyday so I decided to get it checked and was told I am pregnant!! how weird. even the doctor said he cannot explain this period that I had, he said everything is absolutely normal and that not all women bodies act the exact same way! anyone else had their period on their first month of pregnancy ?
