When did your first baby engage?

Hello - 38 weeks tomorrow and had a growth scan today and the sonographer was able to get a lovely full picture of baby’s head and face meaning he’s not engaged even a little bit...

A bit discouraged as I know first babies tend to do this much earlier than in subsequent pregnancies and the heartburn and acid reflux is really killing so keen to get him down and get some breathing room.

Wondering if you can all tell me when you suspect your first baby engaged and when you went into labour?

TIA!

I don't suspect, I know she was fully engaged at 31 weeks. She remained fully engaged. Labour started 7 and a half weeks later...

There's no link between when they engage and when labour starts.

9 days early with 1st... engaged around a week before. They can actually engage then unengage my 1st did it alot. Try bouncing on a ball, go for long walks etc but tbh baby will engage and come when they are ready :).x
