Anti D - blood tests every two weeks?

Hi guys I'm just wondering if anyone has had this. On 8th October I had some bleeding at around 23/24 weeks and had to have an early anti-D injection as I'm Rh negative. I then had the normal anti-D injection at 28 weeks. Before this they did blood tests. I've now had a letter saying the blood tests found anti-D in my blood and I will need to have two-weekly blood tests for this for the rest of my pregnancy. They say the finding that I already had anti-D in my blood "may be due to anti-D given on the 8th October, however immune rather than passive anti-D cannot be excluded".

Has anyone else had this? Given that anti-D stays in your blood for 12 weeks I assume that this would be a common finding when you've already had one injection and they're just being cautious, but the wording of the letter doesn't really give that impression.
