Pregnancy symptoms feel like they’ve gone away at 7 weeks

Hi,

I’m driving myself crazy and need some reassurance about the loss of pregnancy symptoms- I’m not sure if they’re all completely gone but my boobs are definitely less sensitive and feel less swollen. I’ve put on quite a bit of weight in the past month as I’ve been ravenous but constantly nauseous too (?!). The nausea seems to have subsided as well, but I still have a creaky stomach and lots of saliva in my mouth so I must be feeling bit sick still...Halloween Confused

Reason I’m really concerned is because I’ve had such a stressful few months so far, my best friend’s funeral was last month and my partner and I have been really struggling. The news of the pregnancy has been over shadowed by arguments, and my partner is not a very sensitive person... That being an understatement.

I’ve been having a pretty horrible time with my mental health and I’m worried that because I can’t relax I’ve somehow harmed the baby.

Can pregnancy symptoms come and go? I’ve had no bleeding or discharge but my hip area and lower abdomen has been cramping more than often than not at night.

Hello,

Please try not to fret. There's loads of threads on here about people experiencing symptoms coming and going. It's normal for your hormones levels to go up and down.

I have this myself.. I had symptoms very early and then they vanished at around 6 weeks and haven't really come back.

I recently had an early scan and baby was absolutely fine and had a healthy heart beat.

I'm so sorry to hear about your struggles, sending lots of love and positivity your way ❤️

I know exactly what you mean but my midwife says it’s completely normal. Mine come and go and it’s hard not to panic each time!

If it helps, I always think my boobs have become less sore but I think it’s actually more that after a while I get used to them being tender. My puppy will try to climb onto them when he’s next to me on the sofa and I get a very sudden reminder that they are actually much more sore than I think!

I asked my midwife and she seemed completely unconcerned that they come and go and said it’s normal.

Thank you for your responses, the symptoms came back 100 x worse! I’m so weak with exhaustion now that it’s getting me down... No matter how much sleep I seem to be getting I’m finding it hard to do anything at all.

My partner isn’t doing much to support me emotionally, he just gets aggressive and tell me to calm down... I am thinking of leaving him but am scared at the prospect of being a single parent.
