Hello, I found out I’m around 5 weeks pregnant last Sunday. Yesterday morning when I woke I went to the toilet as usual but when I wiped I had this bloody discharge? Nothing in the toilet that I could see nor bloody water? I have put a pad on incase to see any more comes however still haven’t had anything but when I wipe the slighted pale pink tinge to the tissue ?
Today I haven’t had anything but still a bit concerned does anyone have any answers?

Spotting is very normal in early pregnancy so there’s every chance this is nothing to worry about Flowers

Spotting can be very normal at this stage, do you have any pain at all?

Boymummy3 · 12/11/2019 18:24

As pp has said it can be totally normal esp in early pregnancy. X

I had a big bleed at 5 and half weeks-a lot of bright red blood, since then spotting lightly on and off. Had three scans and all looked ok at my last one at 9 weeks, so bleeding can happen and it can be fine, but it’s scary. An early preg unit will scan you if you have had blood, perhaps go to put your mind at rest. How many weeks are you? At 5 and half they could see sac on ultrasound.

With my miscarriages, it started with bloody discharge but I continued to bleed and it
Got heavier. The fact that yours hasn't is a good sign. Bleeding can be normal for some. Big hugs. Hope it all works out for you x

The way I could describe it is a bit like when your mucus plug goes but was like clear discharge and red blood? I haven’t had any pain as of yet just a few little cramps and 5 weeks 1 day can you post photos on here? x

If your worried you can get your blood taken and your HCG levels checked to see if they are doubling, meaning your still pregnant. I had really bad cramps early on and wasn't sure if I'd lost the baby but my HCG levels kept going up when they did tests showing the pregnancy was progressing
