I’m 38+6weeks, and for the past few days I’ve been feeling rubbish, I was so desperate for my baby to come, it was making me really sad. But today, I woke up and I got really excited! It’s so odd, because genuinely every day for almost a week, I’ve been down but today I woke up completely fine and happy and my first thought was ‘my due date is next week!! He could be here really soon!!’ And it’s made me excited! It’s so odd, has anyone else had this happen before?

I dont want to put ideas in your head because everyone is different but...
About a week/week half before my 2nd was due i felt like crap, was having pains on and off just bits off back ache was so fed up,drained etc..due date came and went. Day after due date i woke feeling absolutley fine. No pains. No being tired. Felt rather cheery... Thought well hes going to come when he comes no point moaning about it
5:30pm and i got hit with the Worst labour pains ever they literally came out the blue and very strong i gave birth 10:30pm that night :)

Same kind if happened with my 1st 9 days before due date i woke up with the most energy i had had throughout the pregnancy. I wanted to walk everywhere for some reason couldnt really relax and wanted to he on the go... 2.08am following morning i gave birth to him.

Of course it may not be the same for everyone but i will be looking out for signs this time of me feeling 'normal' closer to ky due date incase its actually a thing that labour is iminent lol x
