Mucus plug? (TMI pic)

Just wondering if this could be my plug? Been having cramps and backache over past few days and when I felt the urge to wipe (I suddenly felt like something was there) this is what was on the tissue. No blood but is very thick and stringy. Not like any discharge I've had in past if that's what it is. Wishful thinking maybe, had no signs whatsoever yet so I'm hoping this could be one!

There was also more than just this, a similar amount when I wiped a second time

Could be, doesn't necessarily mean labour is close though. I've been losing the same daily since about 34 weeks, I'm now 39 weeks and still no sign

Could be! It doesn't necessarily mean labour is imminent though, it could be anything from a few hours (it was for me) to a few days. Hope it all happens for you soon.

I'm 38 weeks so I'm hoping that with having the cramps and back ache too that it could be the start of something! Also being very emotional today, I sobbed uncontrollably because I broke the key off the tin of corned beef and then couldn't open it

I had DS 12 hours after I lost mine, so fingers crossed for you!

Hi I've had a little bit of spotting this morning when I wiped and the lower back ache/ cramps are still there. Not coming in waves or with tightenings though so definitely not contractions!

Mine started with cramping over night. Not that I put 2 and 2 together lol. I then lost my waters and suddenly the cramping made sense!
