Apologies In advance for the graphic post! :-/ I’m after some advise. We had a miscarriage in August and have become pregnant again. I want to be excited but I am concerned that’s things aren’t as they should be. For the last 2.5 weeks I have had paid when going to the toilet. For a week it hurt to pee and poo and felt like a sharp pain when pushing. Then lots of Diarrhea and strange colours. The pain and Diarrhea have eased up a now but not sure if I should be worried. Has anyone else had this?

If its eased off now then probally nothing to worry about but maybe mention it to your midwife? If it hurts when having a wee you could have a uti x

If you’re taking a multi vitamin that includes iron, this can really mess up your digestive system!! Along with the hormones that already make you feel bloated etc...

Hope you’re feeling better?

Rectal pain can also be a symptom of ectopic pregnancy so be sure to see a doctor if you have any one sided pain

Thanks guys. I think the miscarriage has made me paranoid. It’s different to the last pregnancy but as the last one didn’t work I don’t necessarily want it to be. I don’t have any pain on one side. But I have been thinking that it might be ectopic but trying not to worry. Taking the same vitamins as before and didn’t have this. Bloody pregnancy!!! How are you all doing?

How many weeks are you?
I am 12 today, my dating scan is next Friday. Such a long wait!!

My main issue currently is back pain at night. It’s giving me grief, I just can’t get a decent nights sleep :( luckily during the day it’s ok.
It’s an old injury flaring up I think. Have seen physio etc for it. Just frustrating!! Said to DH that’s it now, probably no decent nights sleep for about 2 years now!!

I’m 5 + 5 weeks so early stages. This started the week I was ovulating, turns out, so surely an ectopic wouldn’t show then... I just feel like all my muscles are stretching and bloated. Started drinking mint tea before I go to be and that seems to be relieving my bloating. I have some back aches but sleep isn’t been an affected yet, thankfully! Feeling tired all the time tho!

I didn't have this exactly, but was very bloated, indigestion, constipated or diarrhoea etc in the early weeks. I believe that the hormones can slow your digestive system down and cause all sort of things. These symptoms were much worse than the nausea for me. I don't know if its a similar thing or not for you! Hope you feel better.
