Anyone had this experience

Hi ladies

Currently 28 weeks pregnant went for a growth scan today, was told baby is measuring slightly big at this stage, measuring at 3 pound

So they want to do a diabetes test as they think diabetes could be the reason shes big (prior to this was told I wouldn't need it)
Haven't got anything showing in my wee haven't got any of the usual symptoms

So my question is have any of you ladies been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and had no symptoms apart from your baby was measuring slightly big?

Hey ive had to have gtt as i did have glucose in urine due to me having chocolate cereal before i did my sample 🙈 anyway my baby is also big i had a growth scan at 28 weeks and hes approx 3lb 4oz.
Because your baby is on the bigger side they will want to see just incase if you do have GD even though nothing has shown up in urine. Ive heard of women only getting GD later on in pregnancy so maybe they just want to rule it out. X

I had the same thing, large measuring baby and no symptoms. They tested for diabetes and it was negative. Baby was an average 8lb at birth
