Hi all, I'm a bit concerned! I'm finding when I go for a wee, I stay on the loo until I'm positive I'm finished but a couple of minutes later I notice I'm leaking a bit? I'm only 10 weeks pregnant and I didn't expect anything like this this early?!

I also wee when I sneeze too which again I didn't think would be this early? I've just ordered kegel trainers which are coming tomorrow so hopefully they will help, has anyone else experienced this so early?

I did! No idea if it's normal but I had no issues pre pregnancy but the bladder issues kicked in with my sickness at 6/7 weeks ish I would say.

Hopefully you aren't also suffering with sickness because let me tell you the two do not mix (tmi!).

Hi Brianna, thanks for reply, no thank god I'm not suffering with vomiting else I'd just be constantly wetting myself! I'm on steroids, blood thinners, progesterone and high dose folic acid as ive had 3 losses in the last 17 months and ive found the steroids have masked every single pregnancy symptom, i normally feel like death but i actually feel better than normal which is fantastic but also makes me worry like mad!!

How far along are you now? xx

@rainbow1982 - I'm nearly 29 weeks. Still being sick. However I devised a cunning plan around week 12 - sit on the toilet and puke into a bucket. Two birds, one stone!

Who said pregnancy isn't glamorous?

Hi OP
are you sure it’s wee or could it be amniotic waters ?

I only ask as when i was 23 weeks my waters broke and I used to ‘gush’ when I sneezed, cough, stood up too soon and so on.

ejmay90 · 11/11/2019 16:04

@rainbow1982 i would do your kegel exercises daily, it's your pelvic floor that needs strengthening. Squeeze at every possible moment lol!

Hi OP, I had very very similar at 10 weeks and it was actually a UTI - a lot of pressure on bladder at that stage before your uterus lifts so even though I thought I was ‘finished’ on the loo I’d get up and then leak a bit! Go to your GP for a urine test to get it checked :) I just had to take antibiotics for a week and it hasn’t happened again (25 weeks now)
