Hi ladies
After some advice please,

I’m 20+2 and feeling so poorly. I ate yesterday at 1pm which I threw up that particular meal weirdly hours later at 10pm and iv been throwing up since iv woke up a few times in the night and throw up bile also can’t keep anything down, tried my anti sickness pills can’t keep them down. My head is banging a really bad migraine, iv suffered headaches and sickness but never like this. When should I worry and think I need to call a gp? Just want my lo to be ok
Thank you xxx

I'd go straight to Hospital not the GP. I had HG for both pregnancies. They'll check you for dehydration. Or phone 101 but hospital would be what I'd do.

Other option is phone the midwives. At this hospital I could phone them and they'd decide over the phone (usually pretty quickly) if I needed to be admitted or not.

Hey hun I think you should definitely go see you GP or call your midwife. It may be nothing to worry about but to put your mind at rest I think you should get an appointment ASAP. Better to be safe.
Maybe to ease your mind abit I suffered horrendously with morning sickness all day long for both my pregnancies and it lasted 41 weeks for both pregnancies. I was constantly worried how my babies where able to grow and be healthy when I couldn’t keep anything down but they were both well healthy and good weights when born ds1 was 7.8lbs and ds2 was 8.4lbs. Just try keep hydrated and don’t eat big meals just snack little and often. X

Pregnancy sickness or a stomach bug do you think? Not that it’s much different but a stomach bug will be short lived thankfully!

I have HG & spent many days not being able to keep anything down. I got really dehydrated but baby was fine.. I’d say give it 24 hours to see if the vomiting stops, especially if it’s a bug, try to limit spreading it around! If it’s still continuing into late this evening, seek medical advice for sure. Maybe start with 111. Your little one will be fine, just need to make sure you are OK!

If you’ve got a severe headache it might be a good idea to go get your blood pressure checked tonight just in case. Give your midwife a call and she what they suggest. Hope you’re feeling better ASAP!x

Or phone 111 for advice
