Please ease my mind

Hello! I’m 29 weeks pregnant and really panicking about my gender scan. I know it seems silly to some, of course I care more about my baby being healthy but people have bought me so much pink stuff and we have decorated the nursery etc.

I had a private gender and well being scan with sneak peek in 4D and they said girl and at my 20 week scan they also said girl. I’ve a pretty horrid mother in law who has put it in my head it could be a boy (she would only love that).

It’s more the financial side I’m worry about as my mum has bought so much beautiful pink clothing and room stuff etc. Is it still common to get sex wrong despite two different scans? I’ve attached some photos from gender scan it all looks like blobs to me but she wrote on these two pics.

Again, I obvsiouly Care more about a healthy baby but I am panicking.

After seeing my boys potty shot today it was REALLY obvious he's a boy. Don't worry

Almost certain that’s a girl - can you see those 3 white lines in the genital area? That’s the girl bit! Looks the same as my scan at 16 weeks and at the NHS 20 week scan the sonographer zoomed in a bit more and it was pretty clearly girl parts!

I’d say they’ve got it right!

So just say your gender scan was wrong... by 20 weeks 'boy bits' would of formed enough for them to say it was a boy.. considering they havnt then I would say 100% girl plus from your pics you can tell your having a girl.

I'm on my 3rd boy and it's been pretty clear since early on that they were boys. You cant miss the bits lol. X

I don't understand why you'd disregard the professional opinion of two sonographers in favour of a random comment by your mean MiL!?!

I’m not disregarding what they said it’s just I know they aren’t 100% and she’s just put it in my head 🙈

thank you all! It’s just that stage of washing things etc and the fear had set in that I’d have to buy other stuff lol! I actually wish I hadn’t found out as I’d be perfectly happy either way and would have neutral things!
