Got measured the first time today with second baby and I'm 28 weeks and only measured 26cm and am on bottom line of chart. The midwife hasn't referred me for a scan or anything and I'm a bit concerned.
Has anyone else had similar?
First baby was 6lb exactly so maybe I just make small babies Hmm

Hey nothing to worry about they always say 2cm either way is fine without cause for concern.. the will only send you for growth scans etc if your measuring alot smaller or alot bigger and considering your first was 6lb this one is probally following suit.
I'm 28+5 and since 24 weeks been measuring 4 weeks ahead and been sent for growth scans etc my baby is a chunk and is measuring around 30 weeks 🙈 but my last one was 9lb 8oz born so I make big babies lol. X

I was 29+4 when I got measured at 25 so huge difference. I did get sent for a scan. Baby is small, and I did get sent up to triage today but something was up with the blood flow to baby too so I think that was the main reason for being sent up to triage.

I was told it is perfectly normal to be measuring big or small through out. If they aren’t worried I wouldn’t worry either :)

I had another scan at today and the doctor who did the scan said even though she is small she looked at me and said we’re both obviously not giants so she would expect a smaller baby anyway. (I’m 5ft tall lol)

Honestly, it sounds so scary to be told baby is measuring small but the measurement that the midwife does with the tape measure is largely influenced by how baby is lying down. I measured at 25cm because baby was lying across me length ways instead of vertically.

Try not to worry, even though I know it’s easier said that done x

I consistently measured 10 weeks behind towards the end of my pregnancy! I ended up having multiple growth scans, but DS was always fine and ended up being a healthy weight at 6 lbs 15 oz.

I measured a couple of cm smaller than expected with all my DC and they were all whoppers.

If the MW was worried, she'd have referred you on.
