Gaviscon?

I am 8 weeks pregnant and am struggling with severe nausea and indigestion, has anyone taken liquid gaviscon and it helped? I've asked DH to pick some up today to try

Gaviscon advance is my go to at the moment.. has been for many weeks really. If it gets worse where you’re drinking it like water or chewing the crunchy ones like smarties pop down to your gp and they’ll prescribe something like ranitidine or omeprazole. I’ve made it 21 weeks so far and now thinking about bugging the gp.
