12 week scan

My first scan is today and i’m so nervous that i’ll be told that there’s nothing there etc. I’ve was sick once but apart from that no other symptoms. And i’m worried sick. Is this normal?

It's completely normal. I used to get the worst anxiety before every scan - even later growth scans when I could feel baby moving still made me feel sick. Try and stay calm and positive which I know is easier to say than do but I'm sure everything is going to be fine!!

Totally normal! I squeezed my husbands hand so tight and was convinced there would be nothing there. It's amazing to see baby on the scan though our sonographer was so reassuring and showed us everything in detail.

So I went for my scan and can confirm there is a baby there and I thought I was 12 weeks i’m actually 10!! So happy!
