I am planning "I am pregnant" dinner tonight...
Cooking Japanese food and got some fortune cookies ( will insert my text in them)...
Been planning such reveal forever, even though I found out about it today- all was ready in my head 🙈 I am not sure how to contain the excitement in me. Bursting!!!!

What are your reveal stories? 🌻

Your reveal sounds like a perfect idea, I hope you have a lovely evening! Grin

We told our parents first, then our families and friends. Everyone was very happy. I don't really get the big 'reveals', sorry! (Each go their own, of course.)

I told my husband as he was lying in bed ill - he promptly ran into the bathroom and vomited everywhere - our own unique version of morning sickness

@Twickerhun that's funny 😂 At least he could feel for a moment what if awaiting you for the next several months 🌻

I found out 2 days before DH's birthday so kept it a secret until then. I bought a cute baby hat and hid the pregnancy test inside and wrapped it all up like a birthday present. First thing he said was "oh fuck" 😂 out of pure shock, was very much a planned pregnancy!

First time - told parents straight away and when I told my Nan (I was 17 weeks) I’d put photos in a book of me and my partner from when we first met until the present. When she turned the page there was a scan photo. She cried a lot.
Second - I had a little t shirt made for my daughters second birthday which said ‘Being promoted to Big Sister in January!’ I got my Dad to help her open it and he read it out loud. He was very surprised! My Nan cried again, haha. I’m 31 weeks today!

Aww OP that sounds fab.
We revealed last Christmas Eve with a scan pic in grandparent Christmas cards to our parents. They were so shocked! So glad u recorded their reactions.

** so glad I recorded their reactions. I hate how you can't edit.

@Killerqueen9 that's the best birthday gift that one could ever have ! 🌟 After watching A documentary "the great journey of Sperm" or something like that ( can be found on YouTube), it does really sink in just how much of a miracle every baby is.

@student26 that's lovely... I am hearing that grandparents are the most emotional, can't wait for mine's reaction... I think they all have lived with the idea that neither me or my sisters will ever have kids (" as it's fashionable these days" )

@20viona I may steal your idea for the new to be grandparents! My scan if due right before the Christmas ☺️

P.S. yesterday's announcement was a surprise for sure... Daddy to be was very happy and loved the cute way of finding out 😇
