Hi ladies
I am just over 8 weeks pregnant, had twins confirmed both with heartbeats at 6 and 7 week scans. At 8 week scan, one heartbeat was gone.
I am now terrified I will lose the second one, however it has a heartbeat and was measuring 8+2 on the 8 week scan which I think seems good.
I know the risk of miscarriage is supposed to go down once you’ve heard a heartbeat at 8 weeks, but I keep seeing posts where people have lost theirs at 9 or 10 weeks. In those cases, I’m curious to know were there any signs - e.g, was the baby measuring small at 8 weeks, and then lost heartbeat at 9/10 weeks. Or is it the case the baby measured perfectly and it just came as a shock when heartbeat was gone between 8-12 weeks?
Any experiences you can share that will either give me some reassurance or help me prepare myself for the worst would be much appreciated thanks x
