3-4 weeks pregnant with really painful cramps

Hi, first time posting on here and a little nervous. I found out last week that I'm pregnant with my second child. I'm around 3-4 weeks but started to experience really painful period pain like cramps. Had them for a couple of days but today started having light spotting. With my DS I had a big bleed at 6 weeks without any pain but everything was fine with him. I can't remember experiencing this cramping last time. I'm really worried there may be something wrong as it is so painful but when I look my symptoms up it just mentions about the baby implanting. Could it be anything worse?

Hi there, OP. We're just bumping your thread in the hope that someone will be along soon with some useful advice.

Take care.

Hello,

I am sure you have been checked out now but if you are worried about anything please get checked out. I am also having quite painful cramps, and believe I am around 5 weeks (only found out 2 days ago).
I remember from my first two pregnancies that implantation cramps were quite painful, but this seems more painful this time round.

Please get checked out if you're worried though, there's no need to suffer.

Best wishes xx

Thankyou for your message. Unfortunately I began bleeding quite heavily 2 days ago and know I've lost the baby 😢. Have a scan booked for Tuesday to confirm. I hope your cramps are all normal and that you have a happy and healthy pregnancy xx
