Hiya.
I worked full time at a busy pub when I found out I was pregnant so a lot of running about, a lot of heavy lifting ect. I was told by my MW that as long as I wasn't starting anything new like trying to run a marathon ect that baby would be fine with my usual activity levels. They're pretty resilient creatures! Talk to MW at your next appointment, and congratulations

Picking your child up isnt going to cause any harm to the baby. I still pick my 3 year old up and I'm 28 weeks pregnant..

Picking heavy stuff up etc is also more of advice for yourself for when your bigger as it will put strain on your back and could cause more pain. You will be fine doing normal things you usually do x

I'm 33 weeks pregnant with a very active 2 year old. I have to pick her up quite regularly to get her up and down the stairs as she likes to take all week each time she walks. I just try to keep her on my hip as much as possible. She still climbs all over me and loves to sit on my bump. Baby seems fine so far, very active and growing well, I think they are extremely well protected in there. I wouldn't worry yourself, although I know that is easier said than done
