Hello anyone else due xmas day? I'm 33 weeks this week and keep panicking when I will go into labour as my eldest aged 5 was a 7 week prem baby at 4lb 13 and my second son was 4 days early at 8lb 02. Would love a girl this time round as I have 2 boys but it's fine if it's a boy. We both chose not to find out this time round. But I can't help myself looking up chinese predictor charts and old wives tales etc. The pregnancy is definitely different to my other 2 but I know it doesn't always mean anything. The dark line running up from belly button to breast is not really there this time but I did have it with my 2 boys and someone did say to me before that the dark line means its a boy.

Just curious if anyone else due xmas day and what you're having? Smile x

My original due date was xmas day... luckily that changed to january instead thank god... I'm having my 3rd boy and only through one if the pregnancies did I get that dark line so I dont think it really means much either.
I could never not know what we was having I'm so impatient but at the same time I'd love the feeling of giving birth and not knowing till they told me. Congratulations and not long left now bet you cant wait xx

Hi!!
I’m due Christmas Day with my first! I can’t help you with the old wives tales but at least you‘ll get a lovely surprise! We’re having a girl.
Planning has been really hard as I have no idea when she’ll arrive! Would love her to be early but everyone says you’re generally late with your first 🙄!
How are you feeling? I’m now feeling massive and lots of pelvic pain! Still got 7 weeks of this left lol!!
Good luck with your Christmas baby! X

Yes I’m due Xmas day and selfishly I’m going to be gutted if he’s not born then . I know most people born around Xmas hate it but I think it will would be nice . We have a thread for Xmas babies if you’d like to join

My birthday is very close to Christmas (week before) and I’m due beginning of December, which means if I go overdue I could end up with a Christmas baby too.
I have been told I’m having a girl, which will be nice as I have 2 boys already but I genuinely mean it when I say if it was a boy I would be just as happy as long as it’s healthy and I survive it too! Would be a tad awkward dressing him though as I’ve got some pink clothes lined up Grin

Loveagoodpaxo · 06/11/2019 11:05

To add, I feel totally different in this pregnancy but then I have a different husband for this one so it could just be genetics.
I was very overweight with my sons and this time round I was within a healthy bmi before I got pregnant so I don’t know how much is gender/genetics/fat based!

due jan - expecting a boy & have a little girl already.
I have a faint belly button line this time, but with my daughter it was much more pronounced!

The first trimester I was noticeably less nauseous this time, so was already half expecting it to be a boy, confirmed at the scan!

Not quite xmas day but new years day🙈 my 1st was a 34 weeker and i dont feel like im going to go full term this pregnancy either. If i do manage it, im hoping not for a xmas baby, just because of our 6 year old, as much as theres plenty of family that would love to have him, i dont think hell get it, and we'd be sad not to be home aswell!

ohdearymemumof3 · 06/11/2019 20:47

Im pregnant with baby number 3 and due on 21st December. My other 2 were both 6 days late though so im thinking this one will also be late, i hope not christmas day though🤞🏻x

13 years ago I was due Christmas Eve!!
Kept those muscles clenched I tell you!!
Dd arrived 1030am NYE!

mummumlife · 07/11/2019 18:56

That's so lovely to hear 😊

They do say only 5% of babies actually born on due date so who knows!

The midwife doesn't think I will go over my due date. Beginning of December would be nice :) will be a very expensive month for me! Hubby's birthday also in December!

I'm thinking of giving my baby a Xmasy name :) I do really like Holly but my sister is called Holly.

All the best to everyone! Only 7 weeks to go! 🥳 xx

I'm due Christmas eve with my second. My first was a week early and I'm really hoping it will be the same this time round. My family is full of December birthdays so there are only a few days that haven't already been claimed by family members including myself. Me and baby have been discussing the best day for him to arrive. Just have to see if he listens.

mummumlife · 07/11/2019 19:01

@Sleepycat91 yes I feel the same as you too. I would like Xmas day for Xmas day rather than a joint bday and Xmas but can't be helped.
Some people opt to go straight for C section and not bother trying , good thing is they get a definite date. It's tempting for the date thing but my two boys were natural birth so I'll be doing the same where poss. Not long to go now! x

@owlofathena o wow v busy month! When I see posts on Fb about what your birth month says about you , December always seems to get the best! I know because I compare my birth month to my husband's and he always beats me! Not bad to get double pressies and a month of celebration at end of the year finale 😄😄 x

@TTc2019BabyNo1 same! I had the pelvic pain too at the start only in this pregnancy but luckily it went away. Would be horrible in the mornings. I had carpal tunnel syndrome and massively swollen hands and feet with my 2nd which I'm glad i don't have this time round. It's funny how all the pregnancies and symptoms can be different in the same people. Good luck with everything! Hope your pelvic pain gets better soon xx

Hi, I'm due 22 Dec so almost Xmas but hoping he hangs on in there til after Xmas 🤞 partly because I'd feel a bit guilty for him having a Xmas day birthday and also so my DS who's 4 can enjoy Xmas before the huge change comes. My first DS was late and I ended up being induced so who knows! You just can't plan for these things can you? Good luck to everyone though...lots of lovely Xmas presents for us this year 👶
