Bleeding in early pregnancy

I’ve just found out I’m 2-3 weeks pregnant wasn’t trying so not sure how far long exactly but clear blue said 2-3. I’ve been having pains for 6 days small amount of spotting over those days. But worsening cramping pains tonight fresh red blood. I know this can all be normal but just so worried at the bleeding.
Gp sent me for a scan but I was turned away due to being under 6 weeks.
I just wanted to know if any other moms experienced bleeding.

If clear blue says 2-3 that makes you 4-5 weeks pregnant. Clear blue measures from conception while the NHS and general information online goes by the first day of your last period (normally two weeks earlier assuming normal cycle length).

Did the doctor offer to test your HCG to check rather than the scan? If not return and ask for this to put your mind at ease.xx

I also couldn't have a scan that early on. At least half my friends and I had this, brown (old) blood to start with then red blood. It is frightening.

I was told to take it easy. Not to lift anything. It is all you can do, but know it is very, very common.

Ps I had terrible 'period' pains too, but it was implantation.

Thanks wanderer1 I don’t think I’m that far along as I had period 21st I can’t remember when it finished so I don’t think I could be 4/5? Yes that’s a good idea I might do that 2moz but would tell me if I’m miscarrying ?

I had red blood spotting (when wiped, couple times for maybe 2-3 hours then stopped). Vagina scan at week 6, but couldn't see anything, so need to head back at week 8, when they saw the heartbeat and baby was fine. I had a scan at 12 weeks again and baby was fine. The midwife said it could be implantation bleed.
I avoid doing heavy things, walking slowly etc.
I currently have light brown spotting again for a week, but this time is cervix erosion. We heard the baby heartbeat 2 days ago.

CB Digital is from conception so you will be classed as around 4/5 weeks pregnant, spotting early pregnancy brown/pink can be normal as can period type pains..
Bright red bleeding with pain isnt always normal.. I had really bad period pains when I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd with no bleeding etc..

Before that I was pregnant around 6 weeks got really bad period type pains followed by bright red bleeding and I had a mmc. (Not saying it's the same situation) but bright red bleeding isnt always normal during early pregnancy.
I would contact gp and as if blood tests can be done to check your hcg levels to make sure they are going up. Good luck xx

Thanks for all your advise guys I ended up with ruptured eptopic just home from surgery on Wednesday. Feeling shocked and sad but things will get better I’m sure🤞
