2nd baby labour stories please???

This pregnancy has been completely different.
I had bloody show at 36 weeks MW was sure I was going to have the baby. But nothing happened.
Then contractions at 37 weeks had a sweep as only 1cm for ages and everything stoped.
Now 39 +3 and doesn't seem like he's coming out!
And I'm literally in so much pain moving or sitting.
I lay on my side to get comfy.
I'm so fed up iv never been so excited to feel contractions in my life

What's other people's experience in the lead up to labour

Second pregnancy I had a sweep followed by braxton Hicks that night.... Then bugger all for another week. Was so fed up, midwife offered another sweep and I jumped at the chance 😂 next night I woke up with contractions and 5 hours of labour and just gas and air later, and 9lb DS had arrived. Much easier and quicker than first labour with DD

@sprite25 I have to wait until the 11th for another sweep don't really want to be going on that long lol! Iv head it's meant to be quicker I hope so anyway

I had it was either 1 or 2 sweeps with my 2nd.. I was having pains etc for about a week or so before his due date was on birthing ball everyday, taking walks etc which was hard with everywhere hurting. 1 day late I woke up feeling absolutely fine no pains nothing untill 5:30pm and it hit me like a ton if bricks contractions started straight away and really close together I had him 10:30pm that night x

@Boymummy3 that's what I'm hopping is going to happen just wanna get it over with lol.

I went 9 days early with my 1st so as you can inageing I was pretty much thinking oh yeah it will be the same 2nd time around 🙈 I'd totally give up and just thought well it's going to happen when it does then bam! Although I'd love a bit more notice with this one now as it was so intense straight away I couldn't catch a breath. Fingers crossed for you that he comes asap for you xx
