I’m not sure on the best place for this thread.

I’m currently 37 weeks pregnant with my second DS, I had a breastfeeding class last week as I didn’t breastfeed my first DS and wanted to feel abit more prepared.

The teacher of the class mentioned that it’s a good idea to get some thermal cups with lids to make it easier to drink hot drinks as it keeps them hot and it helps prevent spills.

I had never thought of this and just drank my hot drinks cold with my first if I didn’t manage to drink them when they were made.

This got me thinking if anyone else has any other tips they did or someone has told them, to make life abit easier when baby arrives?

Please share away, regardless of how obvious or silly they may seem, as I’m obviously easily pleased as the thermal cup tip felt like a revelation 😂 .

I've got a caddy downstairs off eBay which has nappies wipes vests muslins sleepsuits etc. It's really handy so if the baby wee'd or puked on her clothes I could change her easily downstairs without having to mess around going upstairs. Especially at first when you may be sore.

I always developed a raging thirst and extreme hunger about 30 seconds in when I started breastfeeding, so I would recommend lots of snacks you can eat one handed (make sure they are within arms reach before you start!) and a sports drinks bottle of the kind with a straw so you don't have to tip it up to drink.

Also, a phone charger with an extra long cable so you can use your phone plugged in from the position you will be sitting in.
