Experiences of tutti bambini bedside crib?

Hi, I had this bedside crib for my first and we really liked it. We bought it when it first came out and had no problems at all. The sheets were £25 for two which was a pain but that was the only thing I didn't like about it.

I'm due my second soon and we were obviously planning on using the crib again but I wasn't sure if we needed to buy a new mattress for it so I had a look to see if we could and the reviews on the mattress were really bad saying that the sheets bend it a lot at the corners and it just doesn't seem good quality.
This has worried me a bit and I've thought using the original mattress should be okay but i just keep reading bad reviews about the crib in general now and im not sure what to do.

Anybody have any experiences of this crib?

I have the tutti bambini cozee and tight enough when the sheet goes on the mattress curves. Looks odd but is since and baby has no issues sleeping in it and is ok in the cot. I think it’s def more sturdy than other next to me cribs we looked at

I have one from when I had my DS last year. I bought sheets and mattress protectors from Mothercare as I couldn't stomach the cost of the "proper" ones. I did find they squished the corners of the mattress a little and it was a bit bowed upwards, but it flattened out while he was laid on it.

I'm planning on using it again for our next baby, due in Feb. I wrapped it all up well when we put it in the loft but will replace the mattress if it seems at all damp or damaged.

Hi, I know this is old but we are currently going through the same. The replacement coir mattress seems too big for the cozee sheets previously used. What did you do?

@MaryCh17 I've bought John Lewis crib sheets and they fit fine

I have this cot. Has been great & planning to use again for baby 2 next year.
I think I bought random sheets from Mothercare. No issues with the mattress
