Where abouts is it?

I'm 15+2 days pregnant I'm just wondering how to feel where my uterus is. I'm curious that's all really. At 13 weeks my midwife listened to baby's heartbeat and she could feel it. Could anyone advise me on where abouts it would be at 15 weeks and how to feel it? Thanks x

It is really hard to identify in yourself at this stage! The fundus (top of the uterus) will be just a little bit above the pubic bone at the moment (the bone at the front on the bikini line/top of pubic hair area).
I am very surprised that the midwife listened to the baby’s heartbeat at 13 weeks. That is almost impossible for many women and so is not a usual thing to do.

@Nanmumandmidwife she said they don't normally do it that early but she would have a go but didn't want me to get upset if she couldn't find if I told her to go ahead she found out within about 15 seconds 🙂 x

I tried to find it about the same stage as you are, and couldn't. I'm 23 weeks now and can feel it, but it's partly because my uterus tenses up some times and goes harder and then I've been able to work out where it is and what to feel for. You'll probably work out how to feel it in the next few weeks, or perhaps midwife can show you at next appointment?

@Keha thank you I did think maybe it was too early. Yes I'll ask the midwife at my next appointment x
