Bleeding during sex

23 weeks and had some light bleeding during sex. It stops straight away after. Internet seems to suggest this is normal but DH really worried about it. Has this happened to you ladies? Any underlying issues?

It's a fairly common side effect of pregnancy. I had bleeding during my last pregnancy and midwife always asked if I'd had sexual recently. The cervix is more sensitive during pregnancy.

If it stops and you've got no pain it's prob fine but always worth giving a midwife a call if you're concerned

Thanks for response! It's stopped and there's no pain or discomfort. Seeing midwife tomorrow though so I'll mention it in case

I had this at 11 weeks and my midwife says it can happen as you are more sensitive. I had quite a big bleed but it stopped straight away and no pain. I'm now on week 28 and baby is growing quickly. If you are still worried just speak to your midwife tomorrow :)
