In desperate need of some maternity jeans! Any recommendations for best brands to try? I can't seem to find any that are skinny fit that don't look too baggy Smile Thanks!

H&M!!! Absolutely LOVE my pregnancy skinnies, comfy, well made and great fit.

Gettingonabitnow · 03/11/2019 17:32

Top shop - trust me I tried and sent back loads, these are the only skinny ones that vaguely stay up x

Meshy23 · 03/11/2019 17:35

Mother care do a really comfortable over the bump one that lasted me until I was about 8 months - too big after that. Also perfect for post natal though

H&M have great maternity jeans.

They are so comfy and you can get super skinny ones so they look great.

I think when I purchased mine they were a bargain at £25 ish each. I'm now wearing them on 2nd pregnancy.

I could only find over the bump ones in local H and M, ordered a few skinny jeans from ASOS which were huge. The way they were made assumes that everyone that gets a bump also gets bigger on the bum and thighs too, so they didn’t stay up. New look seem to be out of stock on line in everything Confused. Next place to try would be topshop but they are a lot more expensive that elsewhere.

I’ve got the jojo black skinny jeans and I love them! Over the bump and really comfortable.

H&M are my favourites

cracker86 · 03/11/2019 18:37

Thank you all! Given me some websites to look on and place some orders this evening :) X

Following this with interest as I haven't found a pair I like 😂

For a non-recommendation however, I found New Look was a no! Even at 5ft 9, they were too long so looked silly worn with anything and baggy in the legs etc 👎

cracker86 · 03/11/2019 19:29

@SparkleUK same with me, New Look were so baggy on my legs. I don't want to live in leggings all the time so finding the right pair of jeans is a must!

H & M are the best! I love mine!

Monique007 · 03/11/2019 19:33

@cracker86 GAP has always some stuff on sale. I bought a pair and love them better than other brands. Have a look, maybe you find something you like there.

BirdIsland · 03/11/2019 19:33

My favorites are overbump from Next, not expensive and come in different lengths. I only have black but they are definitely skinny and generally stay up (my bum and hips have got bigger though!)

bessie84 · 03/11/2019 19:33

im 28 weeks and got my first pair yesterday. got them in sale. very comfy.

Dullblue · 03/11/2019 19:50

I got mine from Asos, bandida brand xx

T0rt0ise · 03/11/2019 20:10

I got some from next, not perfect but good enough and have ordered a couple of others to try

Soda123x · 03/11/2019 21:34

I got mine from boohoo xx

ELM8 · 03/11/2019 22:18

I found jojo were the only ones that were skinny and stayed skinny.. tried a LOT of jeans! Still going good at 37 weeks!

kittyz · 03/11/2019 22:29

The Seraphine jeans are expensive but definitely worth it. I got these over the bump ones. www.seraphine.com/eu/ripped-over-bump-maternity-jeans.html

Got a topshop under the bump pair and they were so annoying having to pull them up all the time.

MrsP2015 · 03/11/2019 22:29

H&M over the bump again!
Had some comfy next work trousers.

Sainsbury's used to do some (non maternity) jogging bottoms in black or grey, loose leg but had a waistband you can fold up over bump-VERY comfy and only about £12
Go up a size or 2 though.

Happy mama have loads of decent cheap maternity clothes too.

h4rriet1 · 04/11/2019 21:24

Seraphine ones are amazing. Expensive but loads of second hand ones available on eBay in perfect condition 😊

I second the Asda suggestion. My local shop don't stock them, but I was told that they often get returns from people who have ordered them in. I went and checked the clearance section and got a lovely pair reduced to £6, plus some black work trousers also £6! They are so comfy and fit great, not at all baggy Smile

Glenpatrick · 05/11/2019 21:25

Top shop (bit pricey but worth it) & H&M both the over the bump type are the best. I have one pair from newlook which I had to get taken up as they were too long but they are useless! Constantly falling down from the bump.
