2nd pregnancy worry :(

Hey guys. New here .. first post .. hey everyone x .. basically I'm worrying like mad ... I'm pregnant with my second baby .. almost 8 weeks .. but on Friday I started having some stomach pains followed by back ache .. which the back ache has been the worst . . But yesterday and today I started to bleed a little bit. . Sometimes it's brown and a decent amount .. other times it's just when I wipe and it's a Reddy colour .. I did have like a tiny dark brown clot that looked like old blood ... And now nothing for past few hours. I'm booked for a early scan on Tuesday to see what is going on. Has anyone else had this before? With my first pregnancy I didn't have any bleeding but severe sickness....this pregnancy I've had no sickness (don't feel that unwell really) .. had bloods and I am pregnant so it's just really strange but yeah has anyone else had bleeding on and off around this time of pregnancy? Any advice or anything would be really appreciated. Thanks everyone xxx

Yes I spotted brown at 5 weeks along with cramps . Early scan couldnt see much. I was asked to come back at 7 weeks which is did. There was baby with strong heartbeat. Then at 8 weeks I began bleeding red. However another scan showed everything hknf was fine. I'm due on Tuesday. I was the same first baby I never had any trouble. This pregnancy has been alot rougher for me.

Honestly, this can go one of two ways- it could just be a bit of a bleed with no repercussions, I have heard a lot of people experience bleeds and all is fine. Or, it could be the start of a miscarriage. I really hope its the former. Unfortunately, there's no way of knowing until your scan and the wait is obviously horrendous. Good luck x

Thanks for the replies xx yes it's either way .. tbh I think it's bad news if I go with my gut .. I'm having little tiny clots now every so often and I'm having bits of pain with it also. Soon see what the next few hours will bring ... And congratulations on your healthy second pregnancy!! :)) Xxx

I'm so sorry to hear that. I don't want to give you false hope, but you just don't know.

Hi, Its horrible to have bleeding in pregnancy but you're better to get checked out. The early pregnancy units are great and open 24/7 so don't sit and worry, just go in. I had similar issue around 8 weeks and turned out to be cervical Polyp, these are apparently common. now 15weeks and started to calm. I got a early scan but couldn't find anything, my consultant did a cervical check.

Maybe it is something like that then ... I won't know for sure until tomorrow after my scan .. unless something happens in the meantime then I'll know ... I just don't feel pregnant anymore in general and with the bleeding now I just feel like it's all over :(( xxx

Yeah, period like pain and back pain but that is very common in first trimester. I was very sick with morning sickness though but not everyone has that. Fingers crossed that everything is okay with you x

Yeah feels a bit like period pain! And today .. at the moment anyway at least ... Ive had no bleeding :S .. so confusing! Felt a bit sicky but nothing major though x just have to wait and see until tomorrow morning now at the scan and go from there xx

Hope you're okay. If you haven't already have a good glass of wine and do the things you couldn't do when you were pregnant. I know its no consolation, but it helped me a little. I took a bit if time out, had some sofa and quilt time and binge watched a really good series online. I just needed comfort stuff and things to occupy my mind. Sending my thoughts to you.
