Second ELCS

How has it been for others? I'm curious as I've had one and am considering another. Is it safe? What's recovery like?

Ive had 1emcs and 3 elcs, all perfectly safe even though they took their time with numbers 3 and 4. My recovery after number 2 was my slowest as i picked up a nasty wound infection because i tried doing too much too soon, i didnt rest enough and i paid for it. I learnt my lesson and with numbers 3/4 i made sure i sat on my arse and did nothing for my now exhs 2 weeks paternity leave, the older dc were his responsibility as i knew after 2 weeks he would be back at work and i needed to be functioning. Because i spent 2 weeks either in bed or on the sofa my recovery after both those sections was fast and i was back up and running at 80%, still had to be careful but recovery was similar to after i had my first.

I have had 3 ELCS. As I had more practical knowledge of how it all worked I found my experience of the 2nd and 3rd far better than my first and my recovery pretty similar. However like pp said I tried to do way too much too quickly with my third and ended up with infected stitches.
