I'm currently 37 and have had this problem since week 17 at least! It comes and goes but I have noticed it's worse if I'm tired, especially if i try to rebel against going to bed because i want to watch a film or something. I would suggest trying to go to bed earlier even if it's just to relax/read. Make sure you drink lots of water, massage your legs twice a day with moisturiser. These things help me a bit. Good luck, not long to go now Flowers

Bananas please try them they contain potassium that is so good for restless legs. Something to do with Lactic Acid

Potassium and magnesium. Also a warm bath helped. I had it terrible in my first pregnancy.

I suffer with this so badly! Things I've tried (and the combo of them all works best and guarantees a decent night sleep):

A 'squeeze' - I ask my hubby to 'squeeze' / massage the backs of my legs before the next few steps below. It often makes me squeal but it helps no end to get the blood moving!

Water - lots of it! I know I'll be up with restless legs if I've not had enough to drink throughout the day. Not forgetting pregnant women need to be drinking more than normal anyway. I figured I'm getting up for a wee fifteen times whether I drink enough or not - so i ensure I drink a litre of water with my evening meal.

Compression socks - so sexy! But they help so much if I put them on as soon as I'm home from work / when I pop my pjs on. I sleep in mine religiously now. My friend is a nurse who said they're also the only way to prevent veins bursting in the legs. He said women should wear hosiery everyday in the third trimester.

Magnesium lavender cream - please ensure you get the cream (pregnancy safe) and not the oil (not pregnancy safe). But this stuff is incredible. I tend to put it on before my compression socks. It smells of lavender and helps the muscles relax. Hubby often puts it on my back too when I'm suffering with that too!

Epsom salt helps me

I found a warm bath really helped me during my last pregnancy. It was the only thing I ever found to ease it. Good luck x
