I'm 6 weeks + 5 days, so absolutely nowhere near to having a baby bump. But I'm so bloated that I look about 5 months pregnant already. Most of my clothes don't fit, and I can't get comfy to sit or lie down.

I was overweight before getting pregnant (not ideal I know), but not massive. Over the last few weeks I've had a major loss of appetite, daily nausea, and totally lost my sweet tooth. I'm not trying or expecting to loose weight, but I wasn't expecting to get bigger this quickly either. My weight hasn't really increased, just my size.

Any tips to reduce the bloating?

I don't want to tell anyone until we've had our first scan, but right now I look more pregnant than my friend who is 21 weeks.

I found peppermint tea really helped my bloating.

I was the same - I looked huge until about 13 weeks even though i actually lost 5lb with sickness, then popped at 17 weeks with a proper bump. I embraced maternity Jean's at about 8 weeks (and might possibly still wear then occasionally even though ds is 16 months!).

It's a good time of year for layering, floaty cardigans and scarves so i would do that (i was at a similar stage of pregnancy as you with ds in the winter).

Me too. Its really hard to hide! I was the same last pregnancy. It never went away just eventually turned into a baby bump (I found the difference was baby bump was harder)

Like pp I'm already in maternity jeans!

It's an insane amount of bloat! Usually flat.

Thanks ladies, good to know it's not just me.

I've just had a week off work so was ok in my casual stuff but I think I'll struggle in my office clothes next week. I've got a pair of maternity work trousers that I might have to start wearing with long tops to hide the stretchy bit.

Trying to get comfy tonight but I've got big achey boobs making it extra awkward, might treat myself to a huge body pillow.
