Slow heartbeat 5 weeks

I am 5 and a half weeks pregnant ,had to go for a scan today as I had some light bleeding ,baby was there and heartbeat was seen but they advised heartbeat is slightly slower than they would expect so want me to go back in two weeks for another scan . Has anybody else had this and turned out to be ok? I am so scared

They couldn't find a heart beat at 5+4 with my baby. Was rescanned at almost 9 weeks as the hospital lost my referral and all was well. She's almost 2 now. Fingers crossed for you xx

Usually heartbeats only really get detected around 7 weeks so I would say 5weeks is good for them to find a heartbeat at all.. fingers crossed for you xx

My baby's heartbeat was slightly slow from 6 weeks to 12 weeks (it was 113bpm if I remember correctly, when ideally it would have been above 120bpm). I had light bleeding as well. However I'm now 31+3 and she's doing well with a normal heart rate.

My understanding is that a heart rate lower than 120bpm does increase the likelihood of miscarrying but it's definitely not a foregone conclusion (just like bleeding).

It's impossible not to worry though, really hope everything works out ok for you x

My baby's heartbeat was 96bpm at 5 + 5 and they were a bit concerned but I got rescanned at 9 weeks and it was 160bpm. At that early, they have just started beating (at about 80-90bpm) and pick up by about 3 beats per day so as long as it's not much lower than that then it's probably just started beating and is picking up. I am 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Started heavy bleeding clotting Thursday night. Instantly thought I’d lost my baby. Booked a scan at a private clinic the day after because epu wouldn’t see me till a week after. I had my scan and some how my baby is still there. He/she has a irregular heart beat and sac in a irregular shape. Since my scan I’ve bled but not passed any clots. Has anyone been told there baby has a irregular heart beat and sac and not miscarried? I’m terrified and really want this baby 🤧
