Hiya.
I keep suffering from migraines and was wondering if there is anything I can take to ease the pain.

I've just read an Oxford uni paper dated 2017 saying before 24 weeks ibuprofen is okay? Anyone heard this?
I can't take paracetamol. I'm 13.5 weeks.last time I had to take the ibuprofen because it got so bad!

I will be calling my doctor / midwife Monday to see too.
Thanks in advance for sharing any experiences.

The only thing they will recommend is paracetamol. I've always been told to stay away from ibuprofen and similar.
If your migraines are really bad and nothing at all will relieve then your gp may be able to prescribe something different. Apart from that make sure your drinking plenty fluid, lie down in a dark room if you can and try cold or hot compress back of neck/forehead

There are some triptans which can be taken in pregnancy under medical supervision.

I was prescribed the lowest dose co-codemol last pregnancy for a severe gum infection/abscess .. so I think coedine is OK under certain circumstances?
